BIO
Born in Edina, Minnesota, Kara spent her first 18 years learning the ways
of the world through Catholic schooling, hard work, and persistence. She
earned a scholarship to go to New Mexico Highlands University for volleyball,
and when that was done, she headed to Arizona State University to finish
up her schooling. She graduated from ASU in December 2003 and is excited
to see what the real world of broadcast journalism has to offer. She is
the youngest of eight children and has two pet rabbits named P.J. and
Thor. She lives in Chandler, Arizona.
